Chicken Alfredo Pasta and Salad

Yummy!!

Tomorrow is my birthday so, I made something very simple.
I like to make this dish and it is one of my husbands favorites!
I was going to make the Alfredo sauce from scratch but, I ran out of heavy whipping cream.
Here is the recipe for Alfredo sauce.

INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

DIRECTIONS
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes, then add garlic and cheese and whisk quickly, heating through. Stir in parsley and serve.

If you can't make the Alfredo sauce from scratch, I like to buy this Alfredo sauce below.
For the meat in the pasta I grilled a boneless skinless chicken.
Side salad with a topping of cheese flavored french fried onions.

And a glass of chardonnay will go very well with this dish! Bon Appetit!!!
